I got admission through WBJEE counseling, basic requriment to take admission minimum 50% marks in each subjects in 12th board and a rank holder in any enterence exam. There are other admission process too you can apply through CEAMPI.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are so many opportunities in careers in this course that's why I chosen Information Technology. Faculty of this college is good in terms of both academic and personal development. The fauctly student ratio is quite good and enough. For every 60 students of different subjects and departments, they have approx 8 professors. The qualification of our faculties are very high. The teaching method of faculties is very interesting which is able to create interest in this course. They really help a lot in clearing all our doubts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The student environment is decent and competive. You will see a variety of students from across the states. Teaching methods are usually with a blackboard or a smartboard. And the labs are wll equipped with thw instruments and devices required for partical understanding of concepts. There are 2 internals and 1 external exam conducted in every semester. Semesters are average and sometimes difficult. An averages student can secure easily pass marks but for distinction grades, students have to work hard.
Campus Life
GNIT is the one place where you find so many opportunities to show your creativity. There are lots of technical activities like Inter-college technical quiz, Conference paper submission, Idea-o-meter start up ideas and most importantly Smart India Hackathon where you can participate and boost your idea in another level. Every year there are annual fest and technical fest for two days called "ZYZZVA" and "TERSSERACT". In those fest, various events are technical and related to science and non-technical as well. These events are usually fun and whoever wins will be rewarded with a prize.
