Introducing GNIT Sodpur

I have joined this college through online counselling in 2019. Age I do not know from which our college going to take admission though. My age was 19 and I have taken admission on GNIT as I have linked my college name on the first step. I have chosen in B.Tech in ECE, a 4 years course. In online counselling, I got selected in GNIT in all the 3 rounds. After that, I've gone for self attested then for admission to GNIT.

From class 8, I have got interested in electrical and electronics components. As I have grown my interest were also grown in robotics and nanotechnology. Maximum faculty members too much helpful and they are familiar with college but hostel students know better about our faculty members as the hostels are within the campus. Faculty members are really well educated and well qualified. Sometimes they teach us out of the mind but generally, their teaching method is very good even I have not taken any private tutors after joining college. Exam papers are really tuff. If someone thinks that they gonna get good marks without studying then it's quite impossible for them but they will indeed get the pass marks. Semester exam time is 3 hours and total theory marks are 70+30.

I have done one internship from Microsoft code executer in the previous semester which means in the 3rd semester. In each semester, students get 4-5 or more projects from the subject topics or beyond the subject topic.

Students become eligible from the 3rd year. HP, Lenovo, HCL, Dell, Infosys, TCS, Huwai, Capgemini, Cognizant, Airtel, etc are the companies visited in our college. Depending on students performance avg packages are 4-6 lakhs and the highest packages are 8-10 lakhs and more. I don't know properly but I think it should be in between 50%-60%. My primary plan is to get a good job after completing my degree.

I do not know about jobs as I have just finished my 4th semester exam of 2nd year which means I will get promoted in 3rd year. I am studying through an educational loan and I have also got a scholarship from my school but have not got from my college yet. I have done an internship at this college. And the end I do not have any job experience but I am a private tutor.

What's App, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Campus 24 are the social media apps for use in our college. GNIT.ac.in & JISexams.in are the website's to visit students portal. The classroom condition is not much good, it looks like an ordinary and old classroom but we have got the advantage of a smart class through the projector. Books are provided by our college every semester from the library but after the end of the semester, they also take all the books they provided. If anyone wants to issue books from the library then they can get it instantly with 30 days validity, if the date is over for submission of books then the amount of fine is Rs1/day. Our college has Freshers, Tech fest, Foodfest, Sangit Sherimani, Dance Competition, Robo Wars, Shooting Stars, etc. Extracurricular activities are Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Music room, Dance room, Swimming pool, Common Room, Audio and Visual, etc.
