Remarks

Basically, JEE main exam, WBJEE, and CEE- AMPAI are the entrance examinations for applying the college. The students need to apply via online mode for appearing in the examination. In my stream cut-off required is not so much hard to crack.

In my course ELECTRICAL Engineering the syllabus is really good and all the necessary information will be provided. The faculty members are highly educated and have friendly behavior. The faculty members are really helpful.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically, the overall package for my stream is 4 lakhs. The students have to pay the fees after completion of every semester. But at a time an amount of 86000 rs have to be paid. Good results in the semester examination will also helpful for opportunities to get scholarships for higher studies.

Campus Life

The campus is really beautiful. The ground, pond-side area, cafeteria, common rooms are really nice.. There are some clubs also. One can register for this. There is a library of over 7000+ books available. The extracurricular activities like NSS and many more is also available for MAR POINTS

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home .
