Remarks
The admission process was smooth and hassle-free. I searched for colleges on collegedunia website. Later, I was approached by an agent who enlightened me about IMS, Noida. I was apprised of the college, courses, admission process, and other pertinent information. All the formalities of my admission were taken care of by my agent and no hidden charges were there. After the fulfillment of admission formalities, I appeared for the personal interview round through Skype.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I chose this PGDM course because it gives a practical experience in order to inculcate leadership and management qualities. Hitherto, faculty is concerned, they are amicable and cooperative with students. They really endeavor to clarify students' queries. Their teaching method is also constructive which allows students to actively construct knowledge rather than just receiving it passively. Additionally, exams are taken twice in each semester accompanied by assignments and PowerPoint presentations. Due to pandemics, mid-term exams of 1st semester were taken in online mode. After the relaxation of lockdown, exams were in offline mode.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide internships with various reputed companies such as Yakult, decathlon, etc. They are mostly related to marketing and sales. There are very few internships available for finance and other streams. All the internships are paid internships.
Placement Experience
Well, on this matter, I have information as much as I have been apprised by my agent and peer groups. The placements take place in the college and students become eligible for placement in the 5th tri-semester. So far my knowledge is concerned, I hope the placements are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is affordable. We were allowed to pay fees in installments. Various scholarships are provided at the time of admission. These scholarships are applicable in the 2nd year of the course. Various paid internships are provided on the campus. These internships are mostly related to marketing and sales.
Campus Life
The campus life is good here. The infrastructure is also good. There are two libraries which have the availability of various books. The classroom is quite spacious and properly ventilated. There is a video projector and WiFi facilities in the classroom. The college also provides various clubs such as boxing club, football club, art club, etc.
Interview Experience
No, I didn't face any group discussion round or written test round. I went through two rounds of personal interviews. The interview experience was good. After the submission of relevant documents, I was apprised by the dates of my personal interview round.
