Remarks

I applied for bits and other nits but since I got cse in IIT I left all. I used the OBC NCL quota which helped me to get better at college I got AIR4126 but on obc I got cs in IIT ism. The age limit is not so bounded. But the min marks depends on reservation or category. For an open minimum of 168 is needed in our batch. For obc 144 is min. And I don't know min marks in other categories. there are total of 6 rounds of counselling. If you opt for a lower branch then there is the chance of sliding but if you opt cse ece there is no chance of a slid.

Course Curriculum Overview

I thought of getting placed early and with a good package Cse is one of the best course for middle class boys who are trying to learn fast and earn faster Faculty-student ratio was about 1:9 Depends on ur interest every proffesse has a unique way of teaching we should adjust for their mode so we can enjoy the class Term exams are a bit tough. Papers were lengthy if questions are easy. Papers were shirt but questions are tough. But since we have relative grade no need of more marks.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google, Microsoft and so on big companies give us interns. I don't know about projects but mostly our seniors excel in their works and projects so mostly they get a job in respected intern companies themselves and so on.

Placement Experience

6th semester, Microsoft google and others nearly 95% of cse gets placed In cse highest package is 52lpa from google. Avg would be around 14-16lpa for cse. 96% of students get placed. Job is only my plan from now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for open and obc ncl 2.5 lakhs. For open and obc if income is below 5lakh 66 percent is reduced and if income is below 1 lakh then 100 percent tuition fees are reduced. Mcm and other scholarships were there at our college.

Campus Life

Srijan and Basant are famous fests at our college. Our library is Asia's second largest technical library. Classes are large and quite cool. Sports and co-curricular are also fine. We are having so many technical cultural and sports and other clubs Artfreaks, LEGENDS IN THE MAKING AND so on.

Hostel Facilities

in room we have 2 beds 2 tables 2 cupboards and light and fans this js quite enough. The menu is excellent but day by day since u get habituated u feel bored. The registration process is online for us. So just follow computer steps.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
