IIT ISM Dhanbad overall review

Admission through Jossa Counselling. I got admission through the OBC NCL rank. Very easy to get admission. I had enough rank in jee advance to get admission to this college. I got 105 marks in jee advance with 48M 30M 27M. I had taken PCM in 11th. I got 88.0% marks in the 12th CBSE board examination.

I am in the Mechanical engineering department. Faculties in my department are quite cool and energetic simultaneously. But when it comes to the subjects of mechanical engineering they are quite difficult even through online lectures. No more is sufficient for mechanical because the prime focus is placement and overall personality development hence we have to maintain a good CGPA over the following engineering years.

Many students got for foreign internships. Internships provide by France Germany Poland with big scholarships. Particularly talking about mining engineering and geophysics, IIT ISM is the best college in India.

When we talk about the campus placement at IIT ISM, we certainly get the quality as per the name of the institute. Placements mainly depends on the academic records or CGPA and overall personality and skills you have developed over the years of engineering. MNCs often come here for the recruitments mainly IT companies.

Talking about fee structure of the college, 120400 in the first semester and 107000 in the 2nd semester onwards. This amount of money is quite big even for the families whose annual income is greater than 500000. While for the families having annual income lesser than 5 lakhs and greater than 1 lakh they have to pay 33000 per sem and get 6000 scholarships.

I don't know much about campus life because I haven't got a chance to visit the college campus till now even for once due to this covid-19 pandemic but what our seniors had told me about the campus life, I can confidently say that it would be no less than your dream college campus life.

Rooms and hostel services are in very good condition. We find washing machines and purifiers in our hostel. The water system in college is very good because it is technically generated by our college itself. The meal quality is also pretty good. Students are offered to choose either veg or non-veg food in hostel mess.
