Review for KCCILHE

Since I wanted to opt for BCA, I gave the IPU CET. I secured 27th rank all over. IPU CET is conducted for various courses and is considered one of the best entrance exams for BCA. To avail of any seat in one of the colleges of IPU, one must surely look for IPU CET. Once you've cleared IPU CET you get colleges according to your rank secured in it. Since I gave this exam amidst the pandemic all the admission processes were held online. All the documents and paperwork were sent and done online respectively.

I've always wanted to do BCA and after many research, I found IPU CET is considered one of the best entrance exams for BCA. The reason why I choose KCC for BCA is that KCC is the best college even though it's new. It's been 3-4 years of its establishment and it has already secured A+ accreditation. My college has a fair amount of faculty: student ratio. Every faculty at KCC has a good teaching experience and they're well qualified. Due to the pandemic, everything has shifted to online platform studies are no doubt affected by it. But still, at KCC even the online classes are very innovative and knowledgeable. In BCA we have six semesters and in each semester there are two exams, one is internals and the other externals. The internals is conducted by the college itself whereas the externals are conducted by IPU. If you're good at studies the exams won't be difficult for you.

Many internship opportunities are available throughout the years of your graduation. The amongst all is the summer internship. Recently the college had Internshala providing a lot of internships to the students that are interested. You have to do the internship as it is required for you to submit at least one project in the 5th semester. You'll get a certificate for that which will help you in your placements further.

There are many placements made even though KCCILHE is a new college. Companies that visited the campus are HCL, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 80-85 % of students are placed. After completing my graduation in BCA from KCCILHE I will prepare for NIMCET for further studies.

The fees at KCCILHE are quite feasible. As after the first year, there's a decrement in the overall fees of the next two years. If you've secured a percentage that is 75 above the college does give some concession. Better the percentage better the concession amount. You can apply for the scholarship provided by the Delhi Gov. as KCC comes under IPU. KCC also provides financial aid if anyone is in need of it. The staff is very supportive in this area. As far as scholarships are regarded, you'll get many internship opportunities.

I myself haven't accustomed to any fest held at my college due to pandemics so I won't lie but the online ones were pretty bland. You can get many books at libraries and if there's a requirement for new all you gotta do is inform the librarian and you'll get it asap. There are lots of extracurricular activities that are held from time to time. There are many societies at the campus for e.g. Literary, Technical, Arts, etc. These societies hold events from time to time. And as for sports, there are many events held inside and outside the campus and anyone can participate in them.

I applied for three seater room which costs me Rs.85000 per year in which Rs. 5000 are of medicals which would be returned to you eventually. My hostel room has 3 beds, 2 cupboards each divided into three shelves, one attached bathroom inside the room, one balcony with a cooler.
