Remarks
I only applied to BIT Mesra and the reason was that it was the nearest college in my city. The admission for the Integrated MSc physics is through the aggregate percentage got in 12 board exams. It should be at least above 65 percent. The process of counseling is not very lengthy. The students coming from OBC, EWS, SC/ST, however, get special privileges in terms of the admission selection process and all of the students need to pay an equal fee. Hostel and mess facilities are also provided in the college campus itself. The campus is very pleasing and refreshing with greenery all around.
Course Curriculum Overview
The semester exams were very precise in terms of time. The quizzes were also organized in the stipulated time. The questions were from the syllabus only and from the notes that have been taught during the class. Exams were not that difficult rather I would say they were moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a sudden pattern as far as free increment per semester is concerned. I was fortunate enough to be selected as a summer intern at Indian Academy of Sciences(IASc). However, due to covid, it went online but the experience was equally thrilling.
Campus Life
There are all possible kinds of groups and clubs you can look for. There are robotics, dance, music drama, etc clubs. I was part of the ROBOLUTION club which is a robotics club. I spent almost a year being an active member of the club and had participated in many events organized in the college and outside the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is provided to everyone. However, if anybody wants to stay outside the college campus they can surely stay near the college. The food is not that bad and there is a variety in a meal in every month. The hostel rooms are always spacious with a bed, table, and chair. There is also 24 hrs wifi facility available.
