AEC IS A BEST IN CLASS COLLEGE

I had applied for NIT Durgapur and Techno India, Kolkata but due to my poor wbjee rank I was unable to take admission in those colleges. As it is an Engineering College so the minimum admission criteria are that you must have a score of at least 75% overall in physics, chemistry and maths and you must have a good grip on mathematics as most of the subjects in Engineering deal with mathematics. My wbjee rank was quite sufficient to get a seat in the branch of Electronics and Communication Engineering so during the first round of counselling I secured my seat in the Asansol Engineering College and paid the admission fees and thats all.

I have chosen this course because studying Electronics and Communication Engineering can be a transformative experience. Present day scenario , modern applications like the internet of things (IoT) , Robotics, and Embedded Systems are highly dependent on the knowledge of ECE. The student to faculty ratio in our department is approximately 1:17 and is maintained the same for the past several years. Our college is far above the other colleges when it comes to faculty members. Our college has some of the most talented and outstanding faculty members having a vast amount of knowledge and are always supportive and keeps the student motivated throughout their college life. Their main motive is to help students achieve their goals.

Companies visit our college and also give a chance to the students for an internship. Students who are involved in making good projects have a higher chance to get an internship and the stipend offered is between 5k - 10k. Some of them may be paid and some of them may be unpaid. But students have to get an internship to gain experience and get a chance to build up their resume.

The students are eligible for campus placements after completion of their 3rd year. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Mahindra, Tcs, etc. And startups like Paytm, Zomato and Swiggy visit our college every year and recruit students and offers a very good package. The highest package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest offered is 3.8lpa. According to the reports of the placement cell in our college, during the campus placements, more than 90% of the students get a good placement in a good company.

The fees of our college are totally decided by the MAKAUT University and there is no such fees hike in the past few years. The fees of our college are not much expensive and are easily affordable. The college charges no additional fees for the library or some of its special facilities offered to the students like transportation, canteen and the hostel food.

Our college has a big stadium to organise Annual and Cultural fests and is renowned for organising famous cultural festivals in popular events like Ravindra Jayanti, Independence Day, Republic Day and many more other events. Our college has modern classrooms and most of them are fully air conditioned for the comfort of both the students and faculty members and has both wifi and smart boards facilities available. Our college also has a fully modernised lab with each and every modern facilities and equipments available. Students from each and every year come forward to participate or organise social activities and our college also provides mar points for participating in them.
