AIMT MBA review

Admission to the AIMT MBA program is granted on the basis of an entrance test. I have applied for CAT but due to some personal issues, I was not able to attend the CAT exam so I took admission through XAT Scores. After filling an online application on AIMT website I was called for a counselling round which consists of a GD and a personal interview. I cleared both and made it to the final list.

The college has various specializations to choose from which became the major reason why I went for AIMT, also the faculty here is very supportive and they will always motivate you to move forward in your life. Every student is given a mentor from the faculty who will always help them to improve on every aspect of the academics and co-curricular activities. We had Internals in each semester and one semester exam at the end of each semester. You will find exams easier if you'll focus on classes and your assignments.

College provides internship opportunities to all students. I got the opportunity to do my internship with Jaro education. I was appointed as a business development intern at Jaro Education Gurgaon. The company offered me a stipend of 20000 per month. At the end of the 2-month internship, I also received a pre-placement offer from this company due to my performance. My task was to enroll working-class professionals in online MBA programs to various universities by providing them counseling through meetings and approaching them through cold calling.

AIMT offers good placement opportunities for all the students of various specializations. Companies like ITC, Jaro education, HDFC, Bunge, LG, Panasonic, Mother Dairy, etc come for placements in our college. College offers 90-100% percent placement. students become eligible to join the company after their 3rd semester. The average package of the colleges 4-5 lakh rupees and the highest package goes up to 8 lakh rupees per annum.

In the first year paid 143000 and second year I paid 123000. When I joined the college I thought the fees which we are paying were huge but then after comparing it with other colleges I realized that ROI which this college was providing is unmatched with other private B.schools. Our college fee was very nominal as compared to other private colleges out there. Also, placement opportunities were decent and they had 100% placement records. Students also got 30-80% scholarships based on their graduation scores. Although I have not filled for any of these scholarships.

AIMT has the best infrastructure, the classroom has good space with a seating of 60 students per class. Every classroom is equipped with a projector and screen also they have mic systems in the classrooms. you will have a big library with a wide variety of books that they keep on updating with new periodic arrivals. You will enjoy college life and your hostel days as well. The hostel is separate for boys and girls. You may not like their system for granting leaves and out passes but overall everything is good. College also organizes annual fest and various events inside the college and you will also get a chance go to other army colleges fest and take part in various co curricular activities. You will also have various clubs, such as IT club, finance club, marketing club and they organized various quizzes and activities. The college has very big space for cricket, football ground, basketball and volleyball ground, etc. College also organizes various sports events.

Hostel facilities at college were good. The hostel has a mix of single rooms and sharing rooms available for students. The boy's hostel was divided into lobbies and it has three floors. The hostel is big enough to accommodate two batches of BBA, two batches of MBA, and two batches of B.ed. The dining area and mess are made on the ground floor. Mess in charge is made to keep quality of food in check also menu keeps on updating on a daily basis and quality of food is normal and hygienic. The hostel is mandatory for all the students. You have to pay for the hostel apart from your academic fees. Every room is equipped with CFL and tube light, an almirah, window, curtains, pillow, study table, and chairs.

I don't exactly remember the topic of my group discussion but I remember during the personal interview they ask me why I want to join AIMT? and why MBA? Group discussion was easy but the personal interview was Intense. They grilled me on various things but I finally made it.
