An experience of a villa marie student.

I have applied for Dost in that the meeseva person but the mobile number was incorrect that's the mistake and I haven't get the OTP for placing the college's in phase and it takes time to change the number. So I have no option. And I have selected villa marie degree college for women. I think what had happened to me in applying dost is for my best because choosing this college is the best thing for me. The faculty and the college are too good. I didn't apply in any quota I just came to the college with the certificates and addmission staff was very good. They asked for certificates and DD for one semester they asked for my inter marks I replied it is 91 percent and I asked for BSC (computer science) in that only the strength is 50 members so I am the last one to join. I think it's my luck. Then after they gave the college opening date.

I have chosen this course because I'm interested in computer science. I wanted to go through the software said so I chose the BSC course. faculty I could say that they are like family and very friendly too and coming to the teaching. Like when some faculty is tough for some subjects we will feel sleepy but coming to this college faculties teaching is very interesting and we can learn many interesting things .they conduct presentations, seminars ect to overcome stage fear and to increase communication skills.The method they are teaching is good .they take us to labs to practice and sometimes they also teach with a projector. They also conduct study hours for us and tests to recollect the syllabus. It's very easy to study when we have semester end exams .. and they conduct events to improve the skills and have the same gasp on the subjects

As I said we will get many placements in our college. The students from the final year are eligible for the placement drive. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Deloitte, Sutherlands, Genpact, tcs, cognizant, etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 3.5l per annum and the least will be 1.9l per annum. the students from the 5 and 6 semesters are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company, and I placed in my college placement.

The fee for the BSC course is 44000 per year and in this college, they don't have any scholarship methods. We have to pay 22k per sem . I will rate my college 5 out of 5.and it's too less when compared to other courses. We have other courses like BCOM BBA, BA ( political science, psychology). I refer to this college instead of other colleges because it's very good when compared to other colleges. And coming to campus placements .many companies reach to this college to take students out. And I have placed in the campus placement drive. So many students were placed in various companies and now they are in a good position. The topmost companies reach our campus. Yes, my college is very supportive and supports the students in all activities and the placement process is also very impressive.

My life at the campus is very great. We will have some fests like freshers party, farewell and in the middle of the year, we will even have some fests. And in the month of December, we will have a Christmas Eve fest for 3 days organized by the college. I am not a member of any of the clubs. We even have a sports room and gym. Most of the students use to participate in cricket and some of them in basketball. We even have our Instagram page named villa marie college, scizone.club and villa press where u can find about our college.

We don't have hostels provided by our college. We used to stay in hostels outside like which are near to our college and the distance is walkable. Because our college does not provide any hostel. So I used to stay in a hostel which is walkable distance to my college. The quality over there was quite good it's not that much worse. The food quality is also not bad.
