Villa Marie College for Women Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college provided the placements and when were in fina year of 6th Sem they is the opportunity to have placements . We got about 20 companies visited our college for placements and from our course 25people got selected and there are some reputed companies also like Deloitte, Capegemini etc . Some people got placed there and they got upto 4lpa

Students were eligible for placements since semester 5-6. Atleast 7-8 companies visited for placements. Don't remember exactly but the lowest package offered was 1.5L per annum from a sports company. Highest offered was 3.5L p.a. for a fresher. Not sure how many accepted the placements. I joined a work from home office as a technical recruiter for an American Company .

I like the environment and the sports , the ambience which made me take this college, the canteen fascinates me as it servess delicious cosuinw fromm starters to the desertss, teaching methods can me improved by a little focus in their overall processs, they need to stop being a little harsh, and understand the students perspective

The main reason why I chose this course for my graduation I.e. BA ( Bachelor of Arts) is because I love doing Arts and I'm little dumb at studying lengthy topics and theories. I'm also a good artist as well doing paintings and drawings from my school life to now. My arts influenced me to choose this course and stick with it as I love Arts and Socialize the outer world. Journalism brought me intrest as it is a socialist job to do and has to be an extrovert for that so I just needed to be. Coming to improvement the faculty need to improve some teaching by giving more practicals and projects to students as it impacts what the student has acknowledged in the course and classes. Weekly they conduct exams which is good but instead they can give projects which relates to the course we are doing and students should feel more interested in it and do it intresting.

From semester 5 students are eligible for campus placements and many mncs will come for interviews and the highest package will be 50000 and average to 20000 offered 50 percentage of the students are getting placed every academic year

The placements offered by the college were mediocre at best. There were big companies like Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank etc, but the only jobs the college could secure for us were low level customer service jobs with minimal packages. As someone who was looking for a job in the marketing field, it was really disappointing to see mere one or two job opportunities related to my field. The sheer lack of quality jobs is the reason I did not get placed through my college placements.

From the last semester which is the 6th sem, the students are allowed to go for placements. The companies that visited included Deloitte and other companies as such. that visit the college. And the highest package was around 5 lakh per annum. The placements were in full go only for courses like BCOM or BSC Computures, there were no placement opportunities for the course of B.A. There did not take any recruitment take place as such for our course. The percentage of students getting places was very low. The average package was 1 to 2 lakh per annum.

Bachelors in Business Administration is a chose of my own because later in life i want to be a business women. The curriculum doesn't prepare us for real world applications and they only get involved in theoretical teachings. I feel in the course they should include subjects that are actually helpful for students in future. The teaching methods should include practical and interactive teachings so that students can provide their point of view and insights. The exams conducted in college are in regular basis as unit tests, internals semester end exams etc.

We have a separate Placement cell for our placements.there are many companies like Tech Mahindra Google HDFC cand etc visit our college and provide us jobs and around 20 people have been selected from all over the courses in our college the highest package is like 6 LPAand the lowest is the 2 lakh package and I want to pursue my Masters in Statistics

Regarding placements, I can say that we will get many placements in our college. The students from final year are eligible for the placement drive. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 they are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte, Wipro, tech Mahindra, Genpact, Sutherlands, amazon, tcs, hdfc, hsbc, Aditya Birla group etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 3.5lakhs per annum, the average will be 2 lakhs per annum and least will be 1.8 lakhs per annum. The students from 5 th and 6 th semester are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company provided by my college placements and achieve success in my future.
