Remarks
I first applied to Daulat Ram College(DU) but then eventually chose Ramjas because of my own personal preference. In my opinion, Ramjas was better than Daulat ram for B com and my seniors also suggested the same. The admission criteria were based on cut-off percentages of the best of four subjects. I got into in 4 th cut off which was 95%. The admission process was simple and the staff and volunteers were helping the students to make the process much easy and smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a commerce student in classes 11 and 12 I opted to do my bachelor's. There are approx. 20 -25 professors and around 1000-1100 students in the commerce department (I can't say about the exact number) The faculty members are NET qualified and most of them possess doctorate degrees. They have years of teaching experience in their specific subjects. Teaching methods are much student-friendly and 2-3 separate classes of each subject us conducted (tute classes) for clearing student doubts. I am a second-year student so it's my personal experience. In my first semester (pre covid ) the classes and exams were as per the regular timetable In the second semester(during covid) the exams got canceled and students were promoted In third-semester Delhi university conducted OBE (open book examination) and it was duly conducted) as per the regular time In the fourth semester (during the second covid wave) the exams got canceled and students were again promoted. For third-year students DU conducted

Placement Experience
The students of the third year(6 th semester) are eligible for campus placements. Many companies including by byju's has offered placements to students. Out of the students who appear for placements nearly 60% students gets placed. The B com honors students have a slightly more chance tham B com programe student.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college charges around 14000-15000 a year for my course. In first year it was around 14000 and in second year too it was around the same. For third year students haven't been told the amount as yet. Although the amount is much less as compared to other private institutions I personally feel that paying 15000 to study online is not as satisfactory. The college do offers scholarships to students though I didn't know much about details.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the commerce department is called Arbitrage. It is much fun with multiple events related to the corporate world. It attracts a decent crowd not only from the own college but from other colleges too. It is three days fest and is conducted in the month of February. The college library is good. Not only books on study-related topics but other topics are also available. There is a 2 storey library and the accommodation facility is also good. The classes are big enough to accommodate 100-120 students at a time. There are 4 to 6 fans for ventilation. Some classes have AC too. Both green and whiteboards are there in classes. The college has a basketball court and a football ground. The college football team is the best and has won many titles. Seminars are often conducted for student guidance and related topics. There are many student societies in college. Each has its own social media presence. The commerce society (the comsoc ramjas) has its own Instagram page for students
