I got this college by JEE Main marks Josa counseling. my marks were around 140 General category. Now I got the placement of 30LPA CTC in the top product-based company. also, my fee was very less due to some scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is average some faculty members are supportive some are not. most of the faculty are well qualified some of them even completed their Ph.D. from top reputed Colleges. Also, Exam was pretty easy it is very easy to pass the exam even for a below-average student.

Internships Opportunities

students can do a 3-month internship in jube July and after taking permission from training and placement students can also do a 6-month internship in December. but due to weak coding culture mostly students cant able get internships in good companies.

Placement Experience

College is capable to invite lots of company even lots of company visit our college of CTC 3-8 but students are not good enough to crack the highest paying company some students who are good enough already got a placement through off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

26000 per sem. College provides lots of Scholarship like poor Aid Fund, tuition fee relaxation these are for the student whose family income is below 3L (Even General students can get this Scholarship) there are lots of Scholarship for the minority community and ST/SC/OBS

Campus Life

Awsome life there are lots of CLUB and Sports facility like Swimming Pool, Gym, Stadium, Martial art, NCC and almost every kind of sports. Fully AC Study room, A very Big Library, and college also have Smart Classes.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is Good But Girls Hostel gets closed before 7 PM that is really very frustrating for female students. Food was also good or you can say some time well sometimes not and Hostel also Celebrate various festival and each Hostel have their hostel Night where students really enjoyed a lot

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
