My college life - villa marie

I went to the college and visited the admission department over there. They explained the college culture and the academic fee structure. They asked mine inter percentage. Though my inter percentage was 75 so I was eligible to get a seat in this college. They give seats based on the percentage of intermediate. The minimum percentage should be 70 percent. Sometimes some may get the seat that got a 65 percentage also but it is rare. So they asked me in which course do you want to join, so I selected b.sc as I was interested in the IT field.

My course is b.sc. It is basically hard. The difficulty level was very high compared to other courses. Then I choose this field because I was interested in its sector. Regarding our faculty, they are very warm. They are very friendly. They all completed their pg and other higher studies. They make us feel comfortable, they explain the difficulty in the subjects. They are very selfless. They explain everything in a good and appropriate manner. we used to have term exams but now we are not having them after corona. At that time those exams helped us to decrease the difficulty level for our semester end exams.

Regarding placements, I can say that we will get many placements in our college. The students from the final year are eligible for the placement drive. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Sutherlands, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, TCS, cognizant etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 3.5l per annum and the least will be 1.9l per annum. the students from the 5 and 6 semesters are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company provided by my campus placements.

As I am a BSc student, so my academic fee is 44000 per year. And it is the only course whose fee structure is comparatively less than other courses in our college. The highest will be BBA. Generally, we will not get any type of scholarships in our college. Because our college will not accept any government related scholarships. It will not encourage those activities. Regarding financial support, it will be difficult to pursue a degree who is from a middle class background. But the only benefit is that the campus placements are highly appreciable in this college.

My life at the campus is very great. We will have some fests like freshers party, farewell and in the middle of the year, we will even have some fests. We used to conduct even events in the middle of the semester regarding our subject. And in December, we will have a Christmas Eve fest for 3 days organized by the college. I am not a member of any of the club. We even have a sports room and gym. Most of the students used to participate in cricket and some of them in basketball. We even have our Instagram page named villa Marie college, villa press, tech wizards and scizone club where u can find about our college.
