Students who appeared for WBJEE or AIEEE can apply for admission in GNIT. Students appeared for CEE-AMPAI can also apply. The documents required during admission are mentioned in college website (www.gnit.ac.in) and the contact number is also provided there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is absolutely relevant that makes our industry-ready. Besides the curriculum, the habit of self-learning will be a plus point for getting the chances of being placed in the desired company. GNIT has a 15:1 student to faculty ratio. Faculties are qualified, and knowledgeable, moreover helpful. Except for the semester exam, there is two internals before every semester.
Internships Opportunities
Students can apply for internships on their own anytime they want. College also arranges for companies that provide paid/unpaid internships. Projects can be of a wide range including AI/ML, Web Development, Android App Development etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester onwards. Capgemini and Deloitte are top recruiters. Students also get places in TCS, Wipro, Cognizant etc. On average 60% or more students get placed every year though placement basically depends on self-performance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total course fees are Rs 407000 excluding hostel fees. Students with a certain percentage of marks can apply for scholarships, government scholarships as well. Plenty of students get on-campus placement offers every year.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named "Zyzzva" and Tech Fest is named as "Tesseract". Annual Sports Day is also celebrated here. Other than these, various departmental events take place throughout the year. Almost every necessary book are available in the library. There are various clubs, like cybersecurity club, space club, coding club etc run by students of various streams.
