Remarks
I got admission to this college through WBJEE Counselling for JEE Main candidates. My AIR in JEE Mains 171371. I received admission in the General quota. The admission process was very smooth. I just arrived the day I received my provisional seat allocation letter and I got admitted within an hour. The admission fee was Rs. 74,250.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it was my passion. Also, this college holds excellent track records in campus placement. The CSE department is the most enormous and popular department of the college. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30 approximately. The faculty is well qualified and the teaching method is also good. The exams were held according to University norms and it was easy to pass.
Placement Experience
After the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements and internships. Many IT companies like Microsoft, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS visit our campus for placement offers and the minimum TPA is Rs. 18 lakhs. 90% of students get placed every year. After getting the degree I aspire to sit for GATE exams for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is well justified here and we get all the facilities that we paid for. I did not have to apply for any scholarship here. Per year the fees hike is Rs 1000. I am still in 1st year so I did not need any financial assistance for my course.
Campus Life
Due to Corona, there could not be any annual fests this year. But there are many clubs like Music and Dance club, Coding club, Art club, Film and Drama Club, etc. That organises events all year round for student participation both intra-and inter-college. All the books related to our courses are available in our library. E-books and journals are also available. There is a playground for sports and an open-air stage for cultural activities.
