Remarks

I needed to pursue an MBA to reach the next step in my career, and MBA at IIM Sirmaur with it's various facilities and eminent faculties seemed like the ideal choiche among the options I was offered the campus being extremely aesthetically pleasing was also a plus, I also wanted to get into an IIM for a long time due to the prestige associated with it.

The course is updated, Yes there were several guest lecturers and Dinesh Sharma Sir was an excellent faculty He taught us marketing and he taught us in a case based study modules.,we were asked to read real life case based studies and come to class where Sir would question us and we would then have a lively discussion based on the same.

as of now I do not know much about the placement nd will only say that I think it is goodI think the entrepreneurs of the colleges are also effectively participating and bringing knowledge to out esteemed campus

College Events

There are several facilities as well as college fests which teach us valuable management skills. there are cultural fests like Sierra in which each nd every single iim participates for several exciting price.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
