Remarks

They really need to replace certain people in the admin and wardon.

Entrance Preview

MAT exam. College had great campus, really good external faculty and it was located outskirts and kept us in peaceful environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course is decent they are pretty good in Marketing, Market Research faculty and Sales. I am not sure about IT and Operations faculty but Finance faculty was not so helpful. Research is entirely based on students. There is a lack of support in terms of extra help, counselling, career planning.

Internships Opportunities

No they didn't provide any internship as far as i remember i got my own internship at Taj if only they provide i guess they provided only in bangalore.

Placement Experience

2

Since it was recession time, very limited companies came to the campus and those who got placed initially were lucky and rest of the batch had to struggle. I think 50-60 percent were placed by the campus. Companies that came - ICICI Securities, EnY, Genesis, Deloitte, Redington Package was also less as compared to previous batches. Avg salary was 20k per month.

College Events

3

Nultiple fests at different colleges, internal club fest, inter college fest, multiple cultural events including festivals and sports tournament was held only once in first year college fest is Archish, Club events like launch, freshers, farewell, festivals like onam, holi, diwali, christmas, pongal, durga puja, ganesh puja.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was feasible as compared to other MBA colleges in 2010. I think I paid around 5 Lakh fees and around 2 Lakh for hostel and mess. Other Bangalore private colleges had much higher fee structure they usually don't charge extra for anything except for placement assistance fees i got campus recruitment during recession as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not as I am aware of only monetary scholarship was offered to those to scored rank 1,2 and 3 in the final year.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ration was around 40-60 women and men lab and Library is really good they have limited sports option within campus although. However they have these clubs - marketing, HR, communication, finance etc which is student driven. There was not much ragging at my time. It took place initially but soon they took strict actions against it. Cultural activities are plenty. There is not politics within student groups. The management is too strict at times regarding monetary fine and timelines.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

They have double and single rooms as well since ours was 2 year course, we had to stay in double occupancy in first and we got single room in second year boys hostel have tripe occupancy rooms as well mess food was decent all veg food was served.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful they do have an alumni network too but everyone is not active people prefer informal ways to communicate to.

Exam Structure

They had trimester system where exams are held thrice a year. 90% attendance is a must for all subjects we never had any lab subject they provided us college HCL laptops. Schedule is very hectic. In second year, they have night classes as well by guest faculty.

Admission

I read about the college online. Fees at that time was nominal so I applied with my MAT score followed with Group discussion and personal interview. Notification was released in March when I applied. Admission department was supportive. I applied online without visiting Bangalore college.

Faculty

4

Faculty was good specially our second year specialization faculty. We had Harish Bizoor, Kiran Bindu, and other famous teachers. Finance faculty was not so good in first year. They do not have any provision of extra class or help for students which come from different streams.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
