JECRC, Jaipur through my eyes

The most important thing for taking admission into this college was its fee structure which is just 2.6 lakhs. Secondly the it holds good placement record i.e. 80-90% placement every year to top recruiting companies. Also, it is a private university recognised by UGC and located in the pink city. So, after knowing these things, I decided to enroll myself to this college. Then, to take admission, I applied for it, provided all my details in the application form in including MAT score. Further, I got shortlisted and appeared in selection procedure round which consists of GD and PI. Lastly, my MAT score, performance in GD and PI rounds, past record of academics was considered and lastly, I got admission offer letter.

The course curriculum for MBA program in my college is updated and well designed by the industrial experts and experienced academicians. We have both core and elective subjects as per the specialization. Since I opted for MBA in marketing, the subjects I am taught with are Marketing research, Marketing strategies, digital marketing, HR management, corporate finance and other. Further, the faculty members are mostly PhD degree holders or equivalent from top Institutions across the country. They hold both experience in industry and academics. They guide us properly as per our area of interest and keep updating us with the latest happenings in the business world.

The recruitment partners of my college are Wipro, BYJU'S, Mindtree, Royal Orchid, Accenture, Deloitte, Extramarks, Just Dial, Infosys, Capgemini, Alibaba, AU Bank, Paytm and other 100+ who visit our campus every year. Most of my senior got placed in Chegg India, TCS, Accenture and a few others with an average package of 5 lakhs per annum and highest package witnessed was 12 LPA. Since our college believes in nurturing the talent and serving the excellence, we are provided with complete training session of 200 hours before a month of the placement drive. Further, in the training session, we are prepared to clear the Group Discussion round, Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview round. However, once I complete my MBA program from here, I will join an organisation, acquire expertise and then set up my own business.

The college fee for MBA program in my college is 2.6 lakhs in total which includes tution fee, examination fee, alumni fee ( one-time and non-refundable). However, I paid extra amount for food and housing. Further, there is no scholarship applicable in MBA program. However, there are scholarship provision in other programs like M.Tech, Hotel Management, b.tech, law etc. Above all, since I stayed in campus hostel only and that too in air conditioned room, I paid 1.4 LPA.

For an amazing campus life, the things that are important in my opinion are campus facilities, events and other activities taking place. So, when I joined this college, I found everything that were in my list. So, the events that takes place are JU RHYTHM, Wonder of Words(WOW), JUHackQuest, Convocation Ceremony, alumni meet, Fresher's day and many others. Apart from that, we have clubs like The Vogue - fashion club, Abhivyakti - the Theatre club, literature club, maverick club, dance club and a few others where co-curricular as extra curricular activities are conducted. Apart from these, the campus amenities include sports complex with indoor courts and zones for basketball, table tennis, badminton, central library, cafeteria, food and hostel facility and many more.
