I come from a middle class family and cannot afford to study top business schools for my BBA degree, so since this college was providing BBA studies at a cost which my family could afford, i did my admissions here. The admission process is based on the merit of class 10+2 results with a minimum of 45%. I also had to sit for an Institution written test done by the college. The mode of applying was offline for me, online is available as well. The application fee depends upon quota to quota. I belong to the general category so i paid an amount of Rs 500.

I wanted to pursue BBA mainly because of the job opportunities it provides. We had 6 faculty members to conduct the classes. It was a three year program which was divided into six semesters. The exams too were conducted semester wise. It was composed of internal and external examinations. The teaching methodology was lecture based only. The teachers used to give us notes as well. Self study was mandatory. Assignments were given as well.

Sadly for this college, we do not have any placements being provided, but the degree holds equal importance as any other business schools as it is a recognised institution. After pursuing my BBA from here, I moved to Kolkata for job opportunities where i started my career as a Business developer for asian paints. My starting package was 2.5 lakhs plus incentives. I am still working here and my annual package has risen to 3 lakhs p.a but i earn more due to the incentives.

The fee structure was pretty cost efficient. The total cost for my program was about Rs 65000. In it, included development of Rs 10000 , examination fee of rs 2000 per semester and Rs 3000 in order to obtain the degree certificate. There were no fees hikes as such during my time. besides this there are scholarship schemes available which is quota based, merit based and also need based. The option of on campus jobs is however not available.

The campus consists of college libraries where we get all the books we need for our studies and further references. It also has lecture and seminar rooms, including computer and research labs. The campus is lush green which makes a good environment for recreation. We also have various events like fresher welcome, teachers day celebration, including inter department competitions and also has a student union who is responsible for managing all the events that are held in the campus.
