Entrance Preview

MBA CET exam and opted for this college through the preparation of aptitude and entrance exam. This college is something which was in my checklist and merit status.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is good and has the subjects like accounts, research, projects with internship, marketing, supply management, logistic management, enterprise performance management, startup and new venture management. It is helpful to start new business or excel in existing business o join a company at management level

Internships Opportunities

Yes and general stipend is not paid. On an average stipend of 1000 rupee else no. I had internship with eureka forbes ktd where i had paid no money and not even petrol allowances. College not focusing on any of students pay sincerely.

Placement Experience

Average but college package is given so low about 2 lacs to 3 lacs. Companies visiting are normally scale companies and college has strict rules at the central placement cell. Which puts student in dilemma and makes it a bit hard to give an open interview.

Exam Structure

Savitribai phule University level exam and has 4 semester in 2 years and each semester has 6 subjects and each subject has 5 units. It also has some internal subjects and has total of 750 marks per semester. It has 60% and above first class criteria. Students need to be sincere to attend the exam as it is a bit difficult.

Admission

CAP round organised by dte mumbai which had 3 rounds of preference and last round of counselling which allots college as per the merit marks and preferred college lists. Admission process needs to fill 3 times and requires verification of your original documents and basic eligibility criteria is to score positive marks in mba cet

Faculty

Faculties are less and has phd completed at the same time some are helpful else some are dominating. Faculties access you good till time u take admission but later they seem to be very rude and dominating. It needs some good level of teaching staff and some regular staff with intelligence to start with

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there.
