Internships Opportunities

Not when i studied , no stipend was offered . During our term the stipend used to be around 1500 rs. Supposedly good at that time and facilities for pick up and drop offered by some companies.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities exist , but i never opted for placement. Now a days many companies opt to recruit out from prestigious institutions and many top companies conduct placement exercises at the campus.

College Events

Music fest and inter college music fests were conducted. Excellent time for the students and 2 days of festivities. A real good time to expose of talents and a real good time to spend freaking out with colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship offered during my course of study. But i understand that some of the other batches were offered stipends and some of them have availed of this facility.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activity , labs were good and seperate facilities for engg. disciplines , workshops for mechanical , automobile and for civil facilities. And industrial exposure was excellent within the PSG Industries.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is semesters of six months each and yearly 2 semesters. Labs are of excellent and practicals are done regurlarly. Hectic activity of exams and labs is not tiring on the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Psg college of technology real experience

An Honest look at PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY what to expect

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
