Remarks
I had applied only in core IIT's and found IIT ISM to be offering me be the comparatively better branch, So I Choose this college. No, I am a general category student & my admission is solely on Merit. To take admission in this college, one needs to score good marks in JEE advanced and has to clear JEE Mains atleast. There's no fixed score, cutoff rank varies each year. The admission process was wholely online via the JOSAA website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in the finance and management field, thus I find chemical engineering very suitable for me. The faculty to student ratio is about 1: 28. The majority of professors are holding PHD from reputed colleges of the world and very few of them owe only an MTech degree. The teaching method is currently online, Professors mainly share their PDF, and slides to study from. An explanation is average but faculty holds deep knowledge of their subject. Term exams are continuous and are of moderately difficult level, to pass, one needs to study notes thoroughly.
Internships Opportunities
as mentioned in the previous bar, all top companies are coming to offer internships as well including PSUs, Roles like Coding, Data Analyst, Management, Consultant, Financial Services, core sector etc are offered every year.
Placement Experience
Students from the 8th semester can sit for placements. All the top companies like Amazon, Barclays, McKinsey, Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, jp morgan, morgan Stanley, salesforce, Flipkart and many more come every year to hire a lot of students. The highest package for 21 batches is 90 lakh by Bloomberg London, as a data scientist. The average package as mentioned on site is 16.7 lakhs per annum, which is at par with top IIT's itself. 95-97% of students get placed including off-campus + on campus and higher studies students.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there's no fee hike policy. It takes 2.3 lakhs per year to study here. I have availed low-income scholarship, and have got fee relaxation of some part in order to relax financial stress. There's technically no jobs on campus available.
Campus Life

Hostel Facilities
Hostels are of average quality, In a room with 2 beds, an almirah and a cupboard are present. variety of food is served in hostel including both veg and non-veg. The timing of the mess is flexible, which ensures everyone gets their food. The hostel is allotted by the administration and is cheap compared to other colleges(private). My hostel is located in Campus area itself.
