Remarks
The admission cell was helpful, the process was smooth. They also provided a scholarship for 60% above the minimum in Secondary and HS exams. HS marksheet is required for admission in Bachelor of computer applications.
Course Curriculum Overview
To study computer-related subjects there is mainly two-course available - BCA, B Tech(CSE), but in B Tech, I personally think that 1st year is a total waste, so I chose BCA and their syllabus is also good. Exams are moderate difficulty, there is an adequate number of faculties are available, some completed their masters some are doing Ph.D., well qualified. Exams date and other schedules are given in the academic calendar are maintained properly.
Internships Opportunities
Not all companies provide internships, there are few. Though in other branches maybe it's higher. We actually do two projects throughout the course, a Minor project and a Major project. We also did Industrial Training from Webguru Pvt. Ltd.
Placement Experience
From the fifth semester, placements are started, both on-campus and off-campus. Students can get opportunities to sit in all placement drives from MNCs, and other companies too. The highest package offered by Zomato which is 10LPA, many students are getting placed too. I will pursue a higher degree whatever.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was admitted in 2018, fees were about rupees 235000, As because I had over 60% in both secondary and higher secondary exams I received about rupees 30000 scholarship, which is applied through a discount on the total course fee. So, my final course fee became rupees 205000 in 3 years.
Campus Life
There are basically three programs, i.e, Freshers' welcome, Anandadhara (Annual Fest), and Phire Dekha (For Alumni). Various books are available in the library, you can take ebooks, DVDs, Books and also there's a portal which can alert you your due dates and all. Free Wifi is available in classrooms, there are options to use a projector too. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Campus sports events are also there, Yearly sports and cricket events, etc.
