The course is bit outdated with not much focussed on research bookish knowledge. School like environment. No knowledge regarding latest technology or trends . Industry needs were not properly captured. First two years were common for all branches with subjects like physics, chemistry.

No Internship term is not that familiar in graduation .We do internship or rather summer internship for knowledge on our own where we pay fees to optical,etc. No stipend and all.

Placement were average to low, which ranged from 1.2 lpa to 4.5 lpa with 50 % student landing genuine placement with average package of 2.5 lpa. I got placed in Honeywell which paid 4.2. Apart from that Techm, wipro, adani, Accenture were few more to visit our campus.

Annual fest was named as lelihan which a cultural fest ,a freshers welcome function was conducted every year by just seniors. Techno fest was held once in 4 years . Not much tech fest were held those days and we went to IIT and NIT to participate for the same but small cultural fest were many apart the two mentioned earlier.

Fees structure was feasible with 70 k without hostel and 1 lpa with hostel and transport. Being a category a college under the classification of BPUT the fees were governed with slight variations. As it was in BBSR. So coat of living was slight higher than other places in Orissa.

No, not that I have availed but PNB associate was sitting while taking admission and corporate people suggested PND. Which few of my friends availed.

Have a girls to boys ratio of 35-65%. Most students were from state and few from neighbourhood states, no Student/Dorm Parties, and very few workshops, cultural societies or Student diversity and high tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

We were the first batch of our college but the alumni network is very weak. Hardly any interaction and too much gap between batches.

Yes exams and labs were not very stressed or chilled out it was normal. Few labs provided in-depth knowledge as the faculty were interested and knowledgeable. Majority of labs were just copy paste stuff.

Faculty standard was not up to mark with few faculty having masters degree ,but those few were awesome in imparting knowledge. Generally the hod of branch will be good with rest faculty fresh passed out b.tech- students who themselves are confused or work as part timer who prepare for govt jobs or GATE.
