Remarks

It's very boring to be true. No such entertainment or modern gadgets to keep u entertained. Teachers take continuous classes for an hour without any break in the middle and we often loose concentration at the end and feel drousy.

Entrance Preview

I took the JEE mains exam on 3 rd April this year. I qualified for the IIT JEE also known as JEE advanced exam. I got 122 in jee mains and 97% in boards. I got selected in the third round of JOSAA counselling. It was a long procedure. I had to wait in long lines to get my admission application in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I am in the first year of study I have not yet been introduced to the course itself but I have heard from the seniors that it's a very adventurous one. And even from the net I get to know the same thing and moreover it's a high pay job and I am all in where there is money.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides a lot of internships. And To be honest I have not yet attended one but I have heard them to be pretty cool and exciting.

Placement Experience

4.5

Seniors tease us by saying that we wudnt get any job offers but passed outs often tell us their experience and it just makes us jealous because they have got excellent placements. It companies and several other companies recruit a while lot if students with sufficient salary enough to please them.

College Events

4.5

Rebecca is the fest held here. Normally throughout the year many events r celebrated . People come from various places giving lectures and holding workshops. We learn a lot from it and we enjoy a lot. Like recently Indian oil corporation held a debate on the vigilance act which was a great success.like this a lot of big companies hold their debates and workshops here. We even had our independent Ted event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its expensive compared to a government college. In Kolkata the private colleges charge less money than our college though I consider that ours a reputed national level college directly controlled by the President of India and all but still it's pretty expensive once it has come under JOSAA.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know about any loan or scholarships. But yes our college provides full tuition fee waiver to all SC and St students.

Campus Life

4

Oh we have several clubs to fulfill those requirements. Robotics, debate, drama, film, coding... Clubs are pretty active here, always involved in activities. And the new labs r awesome. The old ones r undergoing renovations. On my branch there r only 3 girls out of 24 students and it's pretty much the same in other branches but not as worse as ours. Students come here from all over India.

Hostel Facilities

4

As I do not stay in the hostel I cannot tell anything about this but my friends who stay there always complain about the food served and the breakfast. Apart from that the WiFi is the most praised component of the hostel. The rooms r moderate old school type but it's fine.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Well at first we thought that the seniors with rag us and that it with be a pretty scary experience but it felt nice on getting to know them and talk with them. Well they care about us a lot and sometimes a little excess.

Exam Structure

After a month of starting there's the mid semester exams of 50 marks each subject apart from mathematics. And then in the month if November we have the semesters. Then again after 2 months we have another mid semester and again after a span of a month or 2 we have our end send.

Admission

On the day when I was selected on the JOSAA website, I fixed a date to collect my admission form. Then I went to the selected seat of picking up the form which was my college itself. On the first day among a number of students I got my form. Then on another given date I had to go with my original documents with Xerox of each for verification.

Faculty

4

Its excellent. Well dignified teachers who have excelled in their respective fields. They r very friendly and help us whenever needed. They r disciplined and do not tolerate any nonsense.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
