Department of Management Studies , Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is a good college for mangement studies. DoMS MBA will hive the part of a IIT brand. The selection for MBA is based on the aggregate performance in CAT, Personal Interview, Written Aptitude Test and Work Experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBA programme is having rigorous curriculum. The industry led curriculum had greatly benefitted me in my career. The experiential learning , international immersion are the highlights of the programme. Faculties are top notch and dedicated in teaching profession.

DoMS IIT Roorkee has good placement statistics every year. The MBA students get the benefit of recruiters coming to IIT also. INR 1,80,000 is the highest stipend offered in 2020-22, and INR 50,160 was the average stipend offer. Deloitte, EY, Paytm, HCL, Cognizant, Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Infosys, ZS, KPMG, RBS, Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Wipro etc are top recruiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

INR 921760 is the total fees inclusive of tuition fees, admission fees, exam fees, medical fees, gymkhana fees, internet fees, hostel fees, mess fees, medical fees, library fees and caution deposits. DoMS IIT Roorkee Scholarships, Govt Scholarships, Merit cum Means scholarships are offered from college.

Campus Life

The students can acquire a good amount of knowledge and experiences from the campus life. The diverse group of peers and the interaction will be role model to work in the business world later on. The students get a chance to participate in IIT fests, Cognizance (Technical fest) and Thomso (Cultural Fest) in addition to the regular DoMS management fests and events.

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Uttaranchal University is a gemstone!!

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

Placement Experience:

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
