My college review - Villa Marie

The admission process is quite simple. I went to the college and visited the admission department over there. There were so many people so we waited for a while in another room. After that we met them they explained about the college culture and the academic fee structure. They asked mine inter percentage. Though my inter percentage was 83 so I was eligible to get a seat in this college. They give seats based on the percentage of intermediate. So I got a seat. And they asked me which course I want,so I selected b.sc as I was interested in software engineering.

My course is b.sc, so it was quite hard and tough. The difficulty level was very high compared to other courses. Knowing I also choose this field because I was interested in It sector and after taking bsc degree we can join select any course for pg either mba or mca or ms. Regarding our faculty, they are very warm and friendly. They all completed their pg, Ph.D., and other higher studies. They make us feel very comfortable, they explain the difficulty in the subjects. They are very good and selfless. They explain everything in a good and appropriate manner. we used to have term exams but now we are not having them. At that time those exams helped us to decrease the difficulty level for our sem end exams. It was like practice for final exams. They used to help a lot for scoring the maximum percentage.

Regarding placements, I can say that we will get many placements in our college. The students from final year are eligible for the placement drive. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 they are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte, Wipro, tech Mahindra, Genpact, Sutherlands, amazon, tcs, hdfc, hsbc, Aditya Birla group etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 3.5lakhs per annum, the average will be 2 lakhs per annum and least will be 1.8 lakhs per annum. The students from 5 th and 6 th semester are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company provided by my college placements and achieve success in my future.

As I am a BSc student, so my academic fee is 44k per year. I think it is affordable only as per my knowledge.And it is the only course whose fee structure is comparitively less in our college. The highest will be for bba. Basically we will not get any type of scholarships in our college. Because our college will not accept any government scholarships. They are not connected to government in any activities.Regarding financial support it may be difficult to pursue a degree who is from middle class background. But not all the times. And the only benifit is that the campus placements are highly appreciable in this college.We will get more than average percentage of placements. And also the college culture is appreciable.

My life at the campus is admiringly very great. We will have some fests like freshers party, farewell and in the middle of the year, we will even have some fests. We even conduct events based on our subjects. We also conduct some games at the events. And in December, we will have a Christmas Eve fest for 3 days organized by the college. All the departments will conduct events in different months. So we will have a lot more. I am not a member of any of the club. We even have a sports room and fitness room. Most of the students use to participate in cricket and some of them in basketball. We even play badminton and many more on our campus.
