Remarks
The admission process was straightforward. Fill the form which you can get at the administration office and attach all the documents as mentioned in the form. Once done you can just wait in a queue with all the documents and a demand draft of the fees as per your category. The admission process doesn't take much of your time and is easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
Always wanted to pursue my career in Electronics since childhood. The new syllabus is much better than the one I studied. The faculties are friendly especially if you are a Maharashtrian or you know Marathi. Most of the teachers aren't updated with the latest trends in technology. Exams are fairly easy to pass if you prepare well.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't itself offer internships but suggests good places when one can try. Most of the students apply at Doordarshan Kendra, Worli. Even some college Committees provide internship opportunities however these are paid as the students have to pay a short fee for learning about the technology.
Placement Experience
Semester 7 is when all the companies start hiring. A lot of multi-national companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini and others hire many students every year. The packages can go upto 12 LPA depending on the company's needs. The average however lies in between 3-4LPA. Out of the total students who applied for placement about 70% of students get placed. I am currently working at Infosys and will continue to do the same for a period of time. Will go with the flow for now.
Fees and Financial Aid
I myself didn't apply for any financial assistance or scholarship, however, there are benefits for Economically backward class and castes such as SC, ST. Also, there is the TFWS scheme. I received a job opportunity at Infosys with an annual package of 3.6LPA as a system engineer.
Campus Life
There is a number of clubs and committees run by students. These Committees organize various useful events which can be used to learn important skills. There are also Committees like Team Rgit Racing and Robotics club Rgit which participate in national level competitions so one can get a lot of knowledge from participation in these Committees.
