Learn and earn with internships

I was trying to get into the techno India groups of colleges because of its great placement record over the few years and it's a convenient distance from my home. The minimum marks which a candidate will require is around 75% in the 12th standard in the science group. The admission process is very simple and hassle-free. The direct admission is based upon small one-day counseling. Which is very easy and simple.

Since childhood, I had a keen interest in motor designing and car parts. That's why I chose mechanical engineering to pursue my dream. The faculty is very good as usual. Because maximum of the teachers are immensely educated and they guide the students properly. The teachers are of Ph.D., M.Tech, M.phill, etc. All the teachers take care of each and every student and track their daily records for further improvement. The exams are very much timely. 3mock exams are scheduled every month. It's for each and every stream of our college. The ones who follow the notes by teachers can easily pass the exams without any doubt. Passing is not a big issue here.

Our college gives plenty of internships with a good stipend. The internships are provided by the companies like TECH MAHINDRA, MINDTREE, WIPRO, TCS, etc. I was under an internship program the previous year under TECH MAHINDRA for an automobile project whose duration was one 1month. They provided me with a certificate and stipend. Overall a great learning and earning experience.

In our college, the students become eligible for the campusing at the end of the 3rd year. Many companies like MINDTREE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, SAIL, TECH MAHINDRA, BHUSHAN STEEL, etc come to our college and selects their employees. The average. The package offered revolves around 3-3.5lakhs per annum. But the highest noted till now was around 7-8 lakhs. Our college offered successful placement of about 80% of students per year. It's the main highlight of our college. After I graduate from this college my plan is just that I'll join an automobile farm and will work there as an automobile mechanic.

Our college provides decent numbers of students with scholarships for those who need them. The yearly income of anyone's family is under 1lacs Rs then he/she can easily get a scholarship in our college. But the amount is measured by the merit test and varies for every student. This college provides every kind of financial help to students who need it the most. In many cases, some student's semester fees are cut off by 50%.

Techno India group of college is known for their grand fest celebration in entire west Bengal. So there's no doubt that it's very famous and popular throughout the state. Every year between October a novel cultural fest is organized. During august the food fest "FOOD MELA" is organized which comprises of different kinds of food around the globe. There are three different kinds of sports tournaments regarding Cricket, Football, and volleyball. Sports are given very much attention by our college. The classrooms are Hi-fi. They consist of aqua guards in every room and ACs for a comfortable learning experience for the students. The library is very huge. More than 50,000+ books collection is there. It consists of engineering books, comics, journals, business books, etc. We have primarily 3 groups - social club, Rotaract club, eco-club.
