All about G.N.D.I.T

The admission process was quite easy as you can opt for any college after you clear the common entrance test(CET). If you get a decent rank then you can select multiple colleges for taking admission in different courses and after the process is done you will get notified if you made the cutoff or not and after passing this round get your documents submitted at the selected college with advance fees of 1 year and 2000rs as security which will be given back once you complete the course.

I chose this course because I was always interested in chemicals since my school days and I wanted to explore more in this field. there was enough faculty for the students and the faculty was highly qualified having doctorate degrees and the reaching method was also good. term exams were always on time no delays happened in my time.

After 4 semesters the placements take place as the students have already completed one month of industrial training in various industries. some of the companies which visit our colleges are nayara energy , thermax and kanoria chemicals. the average package is around 3-3.5 Lacs per annum almost 30-35% of students get campus placement. My plans are simple as I will get experience in my field I will travel abroad and then will start my startup.

There was no fees hike as of my time and there were many scholarships for students from minority, scheduled cast, and scheduled tribes and also there were scholarships for students scoring a good percentage of marks. As for me, I didn't get any placement because I did not fulfill the criteria at that time. but almost 30% of students got a placement with a stipend.

There were many fests like the annual tech fest which usually happens in the month of February and just after that in march the sports day happens not to forget about the annual function. The library was well equipped with books for every course and a lot of the latest journals and classrooms were also equipped with everything students require for studying. I don't have knowledge about social groups that much but yes a Facebook page of college is maintained by the students named after the college.
