Remarks

I am not belonging to any quota. I am from the general category. At first, I called a management staff for the admission. He told me the details about the admission process. They took an admission test that's why one day I went to the college for this test. There is a total of 100 questions and the duration was 1 hour. The syllabus was basic 10th level. Mainly there are 4 subjects, each section containing 25 questions. Questions came from quantitative aptitude, general intelligence & reasoning, English language, general awareness (including current affairs). Don't be afraid to this test. It's very easy to qualify. After qualifying for the test they gave a date to you for counselling and fees deposited. In counselling day they checked some important documents of you. That's are the process of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There is no specific reason to choose this course. I just love Biology oriented subjects. I found that Biotechnology is an interesting subject. One of my closest friends already enrolled on this course last year. She told me that it's an interesting subject. So I decided to enrol myself on this course. I just love our biotechnology department. We have a total of 41 students and a total of 8 faculty members. The maximum faculty member's qualification is PhD from a reputed institute. They are behaving like our friends. We are very comfortable with our teachers. Brainware University is very sincere about the examinations. They always take the exams from time to time. Questions levels are easy to moderate, if you strictly follow the class notes and study materials, you easily pass the exams with a good SGPA. They thoroughly teach each and every topic from your syllabus.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th semester onwards any student can go for an interview. Actually, now I am studying in the 4th semester that's why I don't have much knowledge about the placements. I will go to take admission in M.SC after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of Biotechnology course is a little bit high. It takes 2.5 lakh in 3 years obviously in semester basis. They also give the scholarship according to your 10+2 marks. The scholarship money deducts from your fees structure. The fees structure of this course increase every year by nearly 50,000 and you have to pay an extra 7200 in examination fees which I dont like. In this pandemic situation, they took electricity bills, library bills, housekeeping rents, laboratory fees which we don't like seriously. They should deduct these fees atleast.

Campus Life

4

There are held many fests in this university. Techfest is one of the most popular. This institute arranged about 2-3 seminars per week. It's very helpful to us to gain knowledge about many valuable topics. Brainware University organizes multiple extracurricular activities every week and it's mandatory to participate in those programmes. You can search Flikr/ brainwareuniversity, you will find many photos of college's programme.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good than any other hostel's. Foods are good in quality, fresh, hygienic & properly cooked. Hostel authority provides a good water supply 24x7. You always get hot & cold water whenever you need it. The meal menu is very awesome. They take hostel charge total 7000 per month including food, electricity bill etc. I stayed in a hostel. Security is very good. They provide 1 bed, 1 desk, 1 wardrove for every student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though the bachelor of science is pursued by someone who wants to research and develop some idea to help the modern world. The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.
