Remarks
You need 55 percent or above in aggregate to pursue B.com (Hons) in DU (SOL) and there's no age limit for this course in SOL. The admission process was pretty simple. You can take admission with the help of your smartphone, register yourself on Sol.du. ac.in and choose the course you want to pursue. The whole process takes a few hours to complete.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I belong to a commerce background and the ultimate goal was to get a bachelor's degree and also preparing for other competitive exams side by side. Faculty: student is approximately 1: 40. All the teachers in SOL join to teach on a temporary basis and are highly qualified. Since they've already taught in regular college for years, they are quite experienced as well. The teaching method is quite student-friendly and understandable because teachers know how to get things done. Exam dates are almost the same as that of a regular student, the level of questions is moderate, if you study well then passing the exams is absolutely no pain for you.
Fees and Financial Aid
After taking admission in SOL the study cost is quite known and not gonna bother you for your respective course. SOl also provides Library assistance for students to assist them in their preparation. Being an SOL graduate, you cannot expect any placement opportunity, you need to look for something else to build your career and have a life. Scholarships and Financial Assistance are not something you see in SOL.
Campus Life
Annual fest or tech fest is not an SOL thing. I had to visit regular colleges to enjoy fests. All the books related to your course and many other books are available in the library in good number, you can avail it easily. You will get AC classrooms in this college and teachers use smart boards to teach, you get comfortable sitting as well. For those who are interested in sports, there is a big ground for cricket, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a tennis court, so, a lot to enjoy I would say.
