Remarks

Admission was based on a merit basis. The minimum cutoff for BCom P was 95.50% for General and 95.25% for Obc. The percentage is aggregate of the top 4. Fees are 12000 per annum. And we have 2 semesters in a year. The teachers are good and very supportive.

I opted for Bcom P as this is one of the best colleges for that course. It is known as Srcc of the south campus. This time strength was a bit more because of the increase in the CBSE results. The Male-Female ratio would be 60:40 in my class. Most teachers have completed their Ph.D.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies do come for internships. As I'm in my first year so I don't know more about it. But college will give you opportunities for internship and with companies like Deloitte, EY, etc. They provide a stipend too. But depends on your capability.

Placement Experience

In last year, students got eligible for placement. Companies like PWC, Deloitte, McKinsey, Bain and Co and all big firms come here for placement. This college will provide you ample of opportunities for placements. The highest package was 14 lakh p.a and average is 5 lakh p.a. But most students go for MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very nominal which is 12000 per year and 36000 for three years. There are lots of scholarships available for those who required them. The library has enough books to support everyone. Fees are not usual hiked as it is a govt. Funded University.

Campus Life

It has one of the best colleges if we talk about Infrastructure. It's just near to metro station. There are lots of society for everyone. If your passions about finance then Blue-chip is for you. If you are interested in marketing then MAC is for you. The college has a decent canteen which provides food at a nominal rate.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
