SurTech: Feel the Automotive Life here

As I loved Automobiles from my College Life, I wanted to study Automobiles from the begining. After a lot of searching and there after, visiting our college campus I decided to continue my studies here. I didn't avail any quota during Admission. The minimum marks to avail this program is 40% and you should have Physics and Mathematics as your science subjects. I mentioned earlier that I loved Automobiles, I searched for a lot of colleges to study AUE. After an extensive search and mostly after visiting the Automobile Workshop of our college, which has a collaboration with HYUNDAI and ASHOK LEYLAND, I decided to pursue my B.Tech here. The faculty-student is well maintained as per the guidelines. The faculties are really kind and conscious about their teaching. They update themselves every day to give us the flavor of Industrial Developments through their teaching. As, presently, the E-Learning is going on, it should be told that, the faculties are using all possible means of PPT's, Videos, Images, Software Models to help us understand the topics from the base level. An LMS I being used from where one can avail all possible study materials. JIS ACADEMIC RESOURCES is also there to get the Video Lectures. The Internal Online Exams are conducted in the LMS Portal, on weekly basis. The Term Exams are conducted twice a semester.

The Internship opportunities are available from mostly two palces: INTERNSHALA AICTE TULIP PORTAL. Apart from that, everyday there are some options always floating in the mail. This week, ELEATION, a Pune based design company conducted an Internship drive frow which 5 students got the opportunity of Internship.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible. Companies Visited: TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, TOUJOURS PERITUS, REPOSE ENERGY, BOMBAY METALS and others. Highest Package: 10 LPA by BYJU's Average Package: 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA Nearly 75-85% students gets placed every year. After my B.Tech, I will try to do higher studies in the area of Automobiles.

There haven't been any fee hikes because of the Pandemic. Lots of Government and private Schoalrships are available in our institute. Manthan, the annual tech fest, is conducted in Mach. Sparsh, annual cultural fest, is conducted in April. More than 45,000 titles are available in our Library. Journals, Reference Books are readily available here. JIS Authorities conducted a Book Distribution Drive, where books were delivered physically for all the students at their households, Presently E-Books are being provided. All the required amenities are readily available in our classrooms. Annual Sports, Debates, Quizzes along with Cultural Programs and Competitions are happening always to provide us a break from the regular classes. NPTEL Local Chapter, NDLI Club, along with the SAE Collegiate Club is there, from which we participate in National Level competitions.
