Remarks
I applied for almost all the NIT'S and IIIT Allahabad for CSE, IT, and ECE, the admission process was vis JOSAA and CSAB because I had given JEE MAINS and Advance. Minimum criteria should be 12th graduate and minimum rank required to avail of the program.
Course Curriculum Overview
Given that the college is going through a covid period, the curriculam is upto date subjects including Java, Networking, Data mining but the faculty is not upto mark, there is no marks transparency while the reults are given. The student:faculty ratio is 60:5 for IT, it changes according to the classes. The faculty shiuld be at least M.tech qualified. The terms are quite in time and they are not quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Frankly, i didn't apply to any college internship and the college now doesn't have that many due to the pandemic issue, but companies like Popxo, MyGlamm, Kaalp , BSNL have given us some internship mostly for marketing and social media exposure and the stipent is from 5000/- to 10,000/-
Placement Experience
I think from the 6th-semester students can give campus placements. Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon these provide whats called a dream package with highrst going above 35lakhs every year. Number of offers cross 300 easily here. The placement % is above 75% due to covid, or generally its above 85%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Given that NIT's maintain a common fee structure when it comes to institute fees that is 84,000/- for general, what changes the entire fee structure is hostel fee's which is 43000/- total. There are scholarships for those students that cannot provide the fees due to financial problems.
Campus Life
We generally have two quests Utkansh(annual cultural fest) and Techniti(Technical fest). We have a 3-story library AC and Non-AC in the same library, there are many books. Classroom for the first year is held separately in a different building and for second to fourth is held in a different building. We have badminton building, athletics, football, cricket, volleyball, tennis courts.
Hostel Facilities
The food is not that bad we have different cuisine depending on the students boarding the hostel. forgetting the hostel accommodation you just need to fill a form during counseling and just that. About the menu, we have rice and roti(butter everywhere) with different lentil dal and curry depending on the menu.
