Remarks

The admission process is similar for all colleges that are affiliated with Delhi University. Firstly, we've to fill one registration form from the official site of the Delhi University after that College introduce their own cut off. So, I checked daily regarding cut off. I've taken admission in the 4th cut off. I've checked the cut off list online and then according to my percentage I visit different Colleges at last I've taken admission in this college. The admission criteria of this course is simple, if you want to pursue b.com hons then you have to score high percentage in 12 boards because the first cut off of my college was around 98%. If you want to take admission in first cut off then score good percentage. The admission day was like normal day there is nothing special at that day i visited College and then I fill admission form and submit it to the reception thats all. No, there was no counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

So, the reason behind choosing this course, I was already familiar with this course and I've to do jobs in the baking sector that's why I chose this course. I didn't remember accurate teachers and students in the college but according to me the total faculty was around 70-100 and students was about 5000+. The faculty of my college was highly qualified as we know that it is affiliated from delhi University which is govt. Body it only hires p.hd qualified teachers. So all the teachers who taught me they are absolutely p.hd qualified and having lots of experience and their method of review was outstanding they always use the different practical situation to make student understand. The examination pattern was held one-semester exam after 5 months and 2-semester exam after 5 months. In a year we're having 2 semesters. The question paper was moderate it's not easy not too much hard. The paper was always created in a way that anyone can attempt that paper.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is various internship opportunity that is provided by my college, the company like cognizant, zomato and much other give internship opportunity to the students with the income of 10,000-15,000 per month it depends on the students because he/she only apply according to their skills and qualifications so there are various roles in which they can get internship opportunities. As you know I had mentioned earlier that I didn't take part in placement and internship opportunities so, I didn't know too much about this.

Placement Experience

4

The college placement of my college was good. From 3 semesters students can apply for internship opportunities and from the 6th semester they can apply for placement opportunities. The placement cell of colleges are different it totally depends on rankings, opportunity, and various other things. According to me total company that visited in my college was around 10-15 and they made numerous offers to the students. The highest package is around 20 lacs per anum and the lowest was 2 lac per annum. The package is totally depends upon the students interview, their skills, knowledge. Around 40-45% get placed in my college at that year (2019) . So, I'm passed out, and currently working in one e-newspaper company and the post area is related to digital marketing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees policy was simple we've to pay for the whole year i.e 10,000 rs (per year). Instead of this, the examination fees were around 150 rs per semester. The overall cost was around 31,000-32,000. There is various scholarships for different categories like disabled students, army officers, and many others. I didn't avail myself of any scholarship. And I also didn't apply for campus internship and placement

Campus Life

5

I didn't remember the name of the annual fest but it occurs every year between the month of February to march. I remember that in 2019 jass Manak (singer) visited my college for the fest. Apart from this the college also conducted the Genesis 2019 a cultural fest for all the students. I belong form commerce field I don't know about the tech fest There is no doubt that the library of this college was Big enough there are around 8000+ books in this library. The amenities of classrooms were basic, wooden desk in round form, fan, dashboard, green board, projector and all. We can say that it's like a normal aminities. Thereis no doubt that that this college is too good in sports it has various sports like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and many others and various students won medals at the national level and State level. And it also conducted various extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, quiz competition There were around 8-9 clubs that are run by students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
