The qualities of GNIT

I took admission in GNIT by giving my secondary and higher secondary marks because my wbjee result was not good. They gave me chance to study engineering rather than other colleges. The admission process was smooth, they are very cooperative. In this criteria, 65%+ marks are required to take the admission but not applicable for all streams. It was applicable for my stream(Electronics and communication). One thing that wbjee result is mandatory for admission whatever you got the marks.

I had choosen the course because I love mathematics and physics so that's why. First of all the teacher-student relationship was very good in this college and also they are very helpful. Faculty members are highly educated to deliver their knowledge to us. They took a surprise test to check our learning process and we had restrictions on that. The internal exams were depended upon the class notes. If anybody follows the class lectures they can easily pass the exam. No doubt their teaching qualities.

I am not much aware of these events because I appear only for the full-time purpose, not any internships. Many of the students got internships referred by our training and placements cells. Training and placement cell is very active to get our placements and as well as internships. Generally, I heard that internships got from the company of Kolkata.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements.Capgemini does mass hiring from our college and also Hexaware,Persistent, Nagarro, Amdocs,Indusnet technologies, Blueconch technologies, Cognizant,Accenture etc. as well as many startups and core company also came for placements. Highest package was 6lpa and avg package was 3.5lpa. In this year our college probably 85% students got placed. After getting the degree i'll do job because i am selected in wipro so that's why.

I think GNIT takes money in avg manner, this is obviously value for money to take admission in this college. Our college has a library where anybody can take any books to study in a specific time period and you can reissue that book. Yes, the college has the quota for financial assistance and they manage to take the admission of that. They have managed some scholarships also for rural students. Now come to the main part that is Job. Everybody wants a job after 4year of studying. Our college starts their campusing from 3rd year where student can time to get placed. They provide companies like MNCs as well as startups and also provide core companies for core branches. Before placement, they will conduct placement preparation where every student can chance to get an idea of the campusing and following manner they can prepare themselves. College also provides GATE training who are interested to qualify for this exam.

Our college campus is very big rather than other colleges. 3 big ground has in my college where volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, and football is played. Our college arranges different sports events every year maybe 2 or 3 times in one year. Tech fest and the cultural fest are awesome in GNIT. They arrange many artists, bands, and cultural events during cultural fest and tech fest has lots of events like robot war, robot maze, photography events, model display, coding competition where they give exciting prizes as well as cash to the winners. The college has also indoor sports like Table tennis, carrom, Gym, etc. Our students recently launched a space club for every interested student who can join easily and discuss space and study there and many other things has there run by our students.
