They conduct their own entrance test VITEE for admission. You have to present all the documents at the time of counselling session like score card, address proof, Identity proof etc. They will allot seats according to rank in a counselling session.

As we all know that doing BTech at VIT is really worth it because it is one of the finest engineering colleges in India. I choose this college because the curriculum of this college is very much updated, the faculty is very polite with the students and there are not many students in a class. Most of the faculties are from IITs.Many of them have PhD degrees. If you focus on your studies from the beginning then you can easily pass the exams with good marks.

In 3 years lots of companies come and offer paid internships to students. The roles offered are like analyst, associate, researcher etc. You have to work in certain projects of companies for which companies paid you some amount (Not much but decent pocket money). Students must have at least one internship completed if they want to sit in the placement process.

The placement of VIT is excellent. They provide 100% placement. A large number of companies come every year to offer placements. There you find MNCs and also small startups, so you can apply anywhere. You are eligible for placement in the last year (7 semesters).At the time of my batch around 60 companies come for placement offer some of them are cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Deloitte etc.The highest placement was 48 lakhs and the lowest was 4 lakhs

The fees of VIT is really high because it is a private college, but it is worth taking admission in it.VIT provides scholarships to their top 5000 students who have secured a rank under 5000 in their entrance exam. Total tuition fees of 4 years are around 8 lacs. It offers a great range of companies on the campus which provides students with a good package.

The campus of VIT is very good covered with lush green trees. There are many grounds in VIT where you can spend your free time.VIT conducts many fests throughout the year one of them are Techno VIT. It is conducted in July. Libraries are fully well equipped with all types of books with a calm environment for students to study. All types of sports are there in VIT, you can be a part of them if you like. Also, there are clubs like Robotics Club, innovation club, drama society, singing society and many more.

I have opted for a 3 bedroom in the hostel. The hostel is very clean. There are both AC and Non AC rooms you can opt for any according to your comfort. Mess is divided into veg and non-veg. The quality of the meal is very good at the VIT hostel. If you want a room then you can register yourself by filling you a form online and submit it on the official website of VIT. Fees are around 1 lacs(if you opt for 3 bed sharing AC room including mess) for one year.
