A good place to Learn.

College management is good but they should come forward to promote general inclusion of all kinds of students into main stream. There were few students who couldn't cope up with the competition and they had started feeling bad about the management.

GGSIP university entrance exam. My Rank was 1509. This college is the best college for Electrical Engineering in IP university. The process of entrance was Written Examination only and my rank was suitable for Electrical Engineering in this college and I was getting all other branches in other colleges of the university so I preferred the college over course. i am happy that I took such decision.

The course curriculum is amazingly great. We got subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Engineering Drawing etc. They were balanced and it required a good study. End term and internal exams were of good standard and had to be written with proper understanding of the subject else students were never allowed to clear it. Marks had to be earned and teachers were strict.

M.Tech wing does provide stipend and it goes by the rules of AICTE. Prevailing norms are followed.Although the strength of M.Tech classroom is not impressive but the facility is available.

The placement has thoroughly good. At the time of recession almost all the colleges were suffering but our college was able to bring atleast one job to those who were pass in all subjects and liable for B.Tech Degree. in normal days 2 to 3 jobs per student are easily a possibility. Apart from leading Software Companies core companies for Electrical, Electronics are also visiting the campus.

The college was full of festivals. IP University festivals, College festivals and Department wise festivals were core attractions other than this cricket season, athletics season, College Day festivals are few to count. Industrial visits, Technical programs, Technical Projects etc. are also mandatory.

When I was there in the college fee structure was nominal. Rs.52000 per year that's it. now it has increased to 72000 per year i think but still lesser that most of the colleges.this price includes all of the expenses other than hostel fee and canteen.

Bank loans are available. College gives certificates to avail education loans from any bank. Administration gives all of the required helps to avail any kind of loan as the college is AICTE approved.

Campus life is awesome. Gender Ratio is nearly 50-50. Diversity of thoughts, culture and knowledge is available inside the campus. I very rich library, good labs of computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering are available. College infrastructure is treat to the eyes. We really enjoyed it. Cricket tournaments, Volleyball tournaments, Bascket ball tournaments, Robo Race, Treasure hun, Fashion Parade, Music Concerts, Rock conclave etc. are regularly organised.

When I was there in the college only Girl's Hostel was there. Hostel facility was really good and canteen food was reasonably cheap. It was subsidized I guess. I used to have my lunch in canteen only. Quality was good and prices were nominal. Hostel was having Air conditioning facility and it was clean and good to stay.

Annual alumni meets are organised. Training and Placements cell remains in constant touch with alumni and they are a robust network. Facebook and Whatsapp groups are already functional.

Exams and labs schedules were hectic. We had to work upon it consistently. Three internal exams were there in every semester and then there were end term exams. The schedule was definitely hectic and the passing marks is 50% else subject back makes examination schedule further cumbersome.

I got the IP university form online and appeared for the entrance test.Entrance test was of 3 hours, one paper consisting of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. The administration of the examination department is at par with the national standard. Examination cell was able to give results in timely manner and the counselling of seats were efficiently managed.

Faculty were above average. Few of them were very good but few of them were just sufficient for the subjects but they knew how to teach the course matter. They were helpful. They had worked rigorously after us. I am happy with their good work. Few of them were PhD and remaining were M.Tech. overall combination was good and I will term it sufficient to teach.
