Remarks

I got admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank. There are 7 rounds of admission process for who will get college according to preference in JOSAA. I didn't avail any quota and there was a min 75% in the 12th criteria to get admission in any NIT. The admission process is quite smooth, you just have to report with the proper documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

MNIT is famous for its Mechanical branch and that's why I choose Mechanical in MNIT only. Faculty: The student ratio is 1:30, around 20 professors are there in the Mechanical branch. All professors are PHD holders in their respective fields. There was a semester-type academic curriculum.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Very few companies came for internships, though you can apply off-campus. Only students of CS and ECE branches have a great opportunity in an internship, other branches have to find own their own. There will be various research and project opportunities for the students of the core branch and the college is supportive in research too.

Placement Experience

You are eligible for placement from the 4th year, and from the 3rd year, you are eligible for an internship. Companies like Deshaw, Urban Clap, Optum, Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, Salesforce, Fidelity, Dassault, HPCL, College Dunia, and many more, around 400 people got placed. 42 lakh is highest and around 7 lakh is the avarage pacakage. 65% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be semester-wise fees structure and you get scholarships according to their criteria but if you are from the general category and your parents earn more than 5 lakh annually then you have to pay the full fee i.e 80,000 INR per semester.

Campus Life

Blitzschlag, which is an annual culture fest of MNIT, and SPINX is tech fest of MNIT, both organized in even semester of college.. Library of MNIT is really good you will get everything. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and also projector are available for ppt presentation. Several clubs are there like dance, music, drama, entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
