Kharagpur College-Review and Analysis

I have applied in garhbeta college,Hijli college, Medinipur College.Garjbeta college is very far from my home.I didn't selected for medinipur College, Hijli college is not as good as Kharagpur College. I don't have any cast and quota. There is no specific criteria for age but admission criteria was based on marks. We didn't had a counselling day.We just applied online and selected .We went to college for confirmation.We were provided details of the classroom,id card and dates.

The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I chose this because English is my favourite subject.Also it you study English there are lots of opportunities present here. Student ratio is 100-120 student per department.There are 26 courses available The faculty is very standard.Teaching Method is very good because attendence is strictly followed by our college.One of the reasons teachers are committed to us .They try their level best to teach us in short time.There are projectors also used in our classes.Overall it is satisfactory. Every term exam happens in 6 months. It is very difficult to pass those exams.As our college is under VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY,so questions are set by them.Thats why exams are very difficult to pass.

There are lots of opportunity for scholarship and financial assistance.All are given by central and state governments.There are also other scholarships available as well. Our college is best when it comes to fees structure.They just reduced the fees because of COVID-19.cost of study is like 2000 per month including all expenses like tution fees,exam fees,bus fare,travel fees. I have got Swami Vivekananda means cum merit scholarship.I have applied for jindal scholarship as well .But i didn't get it.

The life at campus is good. There are events like internship program events, college fest , Saraswati Puja, inter College competition happens in our college.The annual fest happens in December.But the other events happens throughout the year. There are 4-6 fans available in our classroom.There are projectors also used in our class. There are lots sports like kabaddi,kho-kho and extra curricular activities like quiz competition, essay competition happens in our campus.Beacuse of COVID-19 there are several competition going online. As far my knowledge there is one NCA group present in our college.
