Kharagpur College-Review

The admission process was easy to be honest. As I mentioned earlier I applied for Madpur college,but our college is far more better than Madpur college.Plus Our college is 10 minutes away from my house. I come from a general caste. That's why I didn't had any quota. The admission criteria was based on marks of 12 the obviously (not by age).So it was all based on marks. No,there wasn't any counselling day in our college.After we applied online and selected,we went there for confirmation.The college provided us some basic details like our room no,id card details,and a joining date.Thats all.

The course curriculum and faculty members are great to be honest. I come from a family of Bengali graduates,so there was a common interest in Bengali.Besides it's my favorite subject too. There was 100 students per course.There was more than 20 courses available in our college. The faculty members are so helpful and they are enough qualified,they help us in every situation.The teaching method is so good.The good thing about our college is ,they supervise our attendance carefully.Its one of the reason why teachers are also motivated and try their level best to teach us according to our benefits.They will give us some extra details of the topics,take extra classes,use projectors and so on.The teaching method is standard. The exams happens in every 6 months.Its very difficult to pass these exams .The questions are always so standard in our college.Its so hard to get a good score.

The fees structure is good in our college ,thanks to them,they just reduced our fees due to COVID last sem.One of the reasons its one of the Best college. There is no fees hike policy as far as I know. The cost of study is 2000 per month including all expenses like tuition fees. Yes we get scholarships from govt.The scholarship I got is Swami Vivekananda Means Cum Merit Scholarship.So this is kind of financial assistance we generally get.

The life at the campus is good. The annual college fest generally takes place in December. Besides Saraswati Puja,inter college competition also happens in our college. Our library is helpful to us.Its so modernized and updated.We can get all kind of books in the library. Our classroom has 7 fans .Also teachers use projectors in classroom.Thats the amenities in the classroom. The sports activities like Kabaddi,kho-kho and extra curricular activities like quiz contest happens in our college. There is no social group present in our college,As far my knowledge.Because we didn't get to attend college for 1 year due to COVID.
