My First College Review.

No. College is allotted while doing any of the courses that DU sol offers. I am from General Quota. No special quota I had availed for admission. I had taken B.com. and the person who might take admission must have 40% aggregate in 12th. No age condition is required.

I had chosen the B.com course as I had maths as an optional subject in XIIth. The faculty members are good. They are very helpful and are available to take up doubts. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their Teaching technique is also too good. But it does not make the student industry ready as it is a distance learning course many aspects were missing which helps the student to compete in the real world. As I said in the above lines their teaching techniques are good and even in the covid pandemic time they offer online classes. They are very helpful and take up doubts in an easy way. Teachers here are well qualified in their field and are very helpful. The way of teaching is too good as I seem online. They help us to grab the topic easily during online classes. I would rate faculty members as 8/10. I have chosen semester mode. The term exams are taken two times a year. And it is not much more difficult to pass.

The reputed companies and organization that have participated in recruitments are:- Dalmia Group. ISA global. NIIT Ltd. HDB Financial Services. SOL provide placements but not up to a high level. 20%of the students get placement. The average basic package is between 2 - 2.5 lakh/month.and the lowest is 1 lakh. My plan after completing my undergraduate is to compete for the CAT examination.

I have chosen the B.com course. And the fee for that course for the first year is 4040 with books cost included. The total cost for the B.com course is 12120. There is no fee hike policy at Du sol. It's Between the range of 20k-40k. The basic problem is that Delhi is very expensive for the lower middle class. As it is distance learning the travel expense costs too much for students.

The school has a library at the main campus at Moti Bagh (south campus) for the students residing in Delhi and its nearby.it has a good collection of books. There are no dedicated platforms for Sol students to participate in extracurricular activities. I am not aware of the social groups for students in Du Sol.
