I took CET to get into GGSIPU for B.Tech and got a rank of 3000. This college is ranked second in IP University Delhi and hence with the option available I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very old and require a lot of updation for making students stand up in today's world. Unnecessary subjects need to be removed and more course related and practically useful subjects should be added. The course and curriculum needs desperate review.
Internships Opportunities
No, the college doesn't provide internships but promotes students to take internships outside the college.
Placement Experience
The placement is a bit dicey thing , if one wants he/she can take an average job in MNC's or mass recruiters and then wait for the 5 star companies to come because then he/she won't be allowed to sit in other companies other than too high package ones.
College Events
Technical and cultural fests happen in the college and are organised by the students but the students are not given the amount of freedom that is required to organise an amazing event so they are below average. No freshers party is organised and no fun at all int he college events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very expensive , for engineering especially . It was about 1 lakh for the year when I did , but increased this year. which means 50 k for one semester and books transport etc add on to make your degree more expensive all together.Fee is very expensive , for engineering especially . No, scholarships no loans no future aids nothing is provided by the college . Their only concern is timely fee payment.
Campus Life
Campus life gets bad to worse , gender ratio is already bad because of B.Tech course and to add to that the college is located in a segregated place between clean fields so one can't expect some hot shot campus and after college hours. Depressing campus life.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni is not at all helpful they absolutely misuse their power but the seniors at my time were awesome and are still in contact and have helped me in a lot of ways.
Admission
I prepared for CET by GGSIPU and got 3000 rank and then the counselling happened i.e the first counselling in which I got a different college and had to stay there for 1 month before the second counselling . And in the second counselling I got this college.
Faculty
The faculty is as there is in any other college in the world some teachers are amazingly awesome , some are average , and some don't care a bit about the students but overall I would rate the faculty below par because as rated this college should have more interested in teaching faculty.
