I wanted to be an engineer from a young age. My dream is to become an engineer and work in organizations like isro, barc. For that I had to choose a good college. Jayhind College of Engineering is a highly reputed and high quality college. And close to my home. So I entered this college. I am not coming to any quota method. So I got admitted in this college according to the cap round. The admission process is extremely easy and simple. In order to get admission in this college, at least 70% marks in 12th science branch were required. I had 73% in science branch. I applied online and got my number in cap round. Then my admission was confirmed by paying Rs.36000. Fee structure remains as it is for every year with some minor Rs.1000-2000 changes. This is good college for middle class students.

I choose the mechanical engineering course. I like machines. I love the the motion of machines and their study. I am interested in dynamic science. So , I choose the mechanical engineering. Also in this college very talented faculties are available. The faculty student ratio is 1:53. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD in various engineering subject. The teaching method of teachers and professors are very good . They provide proper knowledge to the students. The difficulty level of the term exams is moderate. There are 2 SEMS in a year . First term exam is in October month and second term exam is in may month . Every SEM has 5 major subjects.

Students from this college get internship from Infosys , Wipro , siddhi forge with Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 per month. The average internship period is 4-5 moths. Every year 7-8 internship programs are performed by our college. Students are getting skills from such internships programs.

Very less placements are provide by our college in this year. This is obviously because of COVID. By ignoring this , many companies were visit this college like CADEM , Paras , LG to place the students. From 7 th SEM students become eligible for campus . Companies offer up to 4.5 lakh highest annual package. Average package is 3 lakh. 20 % of students getting placement for every year. I am going for competitive exams like GATE , ESE after getting degree.

The main fees for one year is Rs. 60000 including all tution fees , exam fees , lab fees , library fees , etc. But there is Maharashtra state government scholarship for every cap students , which is Rs. 25000 per year. Also Maharashtra government provides scholarship for hostel students. The name of the scholarship is ' Post matric scholarship for engineering students'. I didn't get any job or apprenticeship from college personally. But my seniors got various jobs with the help of our college with good package.

The college campus has healthy atmosphere according to education and extra activities. This college conducts the annual gathering in December month . The name of annual fest is SPANDAN. Also college conducts the technical events in November. The name of event is SPARK. There are many research papers , reference books and other engineering subject books are available in college library. Also library has good atmosphere for study. Classrooms are big and sufficient for lectures. Also college conducts the sports like cricket, badminton, chess, running race ,etc. Also there is prize distribution for students. Also students from our college participate in inter-college sports. College provides fundings and travelling facilities for those students. This college created a group of students for social services under the NSS. The social activities like tree plantation , river cleaning , social awareness about various topics are perform by this group.
