Best College for Students

I applied only for this college as I wanted to get entry into this college and get a seat. I availed myself of the General category myself and got admission through this category. The admission criteria were based on ranking and age of 17+. The ranking for each stream was different and according to that, students were admitted. The process was very well organized and completely up-to-date as all the instructions were given and there were volunteers to guide us.

The course curriculum is very good and according to the streams we have chosen. I chose Computer Science as that was the stream I wanted to get myself admitted and get placed in the future. The ratio is 1:60 probably as far as I know. The qualifications are perfect and according to the streams it demands too and the teaching method is really good and accurate and understandable. The term exams timings are up to date and perfectly planned and the passing difficulty for me was easy.

There are many in-house companies offering internship facilites in our college and the roles offered are of trainee level where students can gain experience in the working environment. There are many projects encouraged and selected based on ideathons conducted and then funded.

The placement facilities are really good and very acclaimed in the state. Students from the seventh semester get the opportunity. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, IBM, SAP, Mphasis, Accenture, etc come to the college and many offers are given every year. The highest package offered is 24 lakhs per annum and the average package offered is 3.5 lakhs. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed in our college. My plan is to get placed in college after my degree.

There is no fees hike in our college as the fees are fixed before only and the cost to study is quite affordable and reasonable for all the courses. I have not got any scholarship or job as I'm still undergoing my degree in college.

The annual fest happening in our college is called Sinchana and tech fests are organized most of the time which is a very good experience. The library facilities are really good and books are available most of the time and even we have a digital library. The classroom amenities are really good and comfortable. There is a lot of encouragement for sports and extracurricular activities which is good and the right support is given to everyone. There are many social groups like SOSC, Mozilla club for IT students which conducts workshops, etc.
