Entrance Preview
To get into the college I had to compete in WBJEE and rank 19420. I got options of IT engineering from various colleges but ECE from Narula. Additionally my school senior used to study in the same college.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I used to be a student, the college was under WBUT board. Maximum of the course was theories dependent. Since our college is well equipped with all lab facilities, I witnessed many students from other colleges coming to my college to practice the labs. Most of my professors were very well known and had many patents under their name.
College Events
I was the part of the cultural society. There isn't any events or activity we don't have. Celebrating poojas , fresher's party, annual functions.. sports meet alumni meet etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, Not proper scholarship was provided. Loan facility is available though but u won't get and compensation on that.
Campus Life
Our gender ratio was around 60:40(M:F). I didn't have the campus life every one dreams of but I wasn't dissatisfied. We had regular activities which our professors never demotivate us from. We had the freedom to express our mind and creativity as we like.
Exam Structure
It's same as any WBUT exam but very strict. Never in my 4 years I have seen lenient printers or invigilators. Very strict on invigilation. The exam starts at sharp given time. 15 minutes extra is given as plus time. The exam will end at the given time.
Admission
Since I got into the college via WBJEE, I first had to book a seat of Narula at the counselling itself. Then by taking the receipt to the college we had to go through an hour or two long process. We also had to fill the affidavit for anti ragging department.
