I took MH-CET 2013 and took admission to this college. I scored 135/200 marks. I opted this college because of its good reputation and the fact of it being a government college.

Course curriculum at times seems to be a bit old but i think it's basics that matters so our curriculum consists of pretty basic technology. We also have open electives concept in which we have advanced topics we can opt for. During 4 years of study all important sides of our particular branch are covered.

Our college does provide internships at various industries and at times, also to other Elite colleges like IITs and many government plants. But it reaches to handful of students. Maximum are devoid of this opportunities.

Placement and job opportunities are average and the salaries offered are average as well. The reason might be the remote place the college is located at. Few companies come to the college for campus placements most of which are IT. Some core companies come as well. These days placement have increased a bit.

One technical festival is celebrated in college which is a national level called PRAGYAA and its held during March. Also cultural night is arranged to three times during the whole year main being the three days celebration UTSAV. Also many of the great leaders are celebrated plus national freedom days.

Free structure is quite feasible but again it's bias. For a poor open category student it is still 60000 pa but even for a reach SC student is 3000 pa. But overall compared to other colleges, especially private the fees structure is affordable and less.

Campus life is often. With girls population being almost equal to boys and diversity is also there. Many indoor and outdoor games facility. Also good lush green lawns. Many clubs for passionate students like music club, dance club, robotics club, UPSC, GATE clubs.

Alumnus network is very good with many of them supporting the college and funding from other countries. Each year alumni meet is conducted in the college so as for them to relive the college days and acknowledge present situation and they also provide funds.

Exams structure is 2 time a semester divided into 30 marks in midterm which is held during mid of semester and 70 marks end term during the end of the semester. Also theory papers and practical exams are held differently and external faculties come to assess us.

College senior faculty is at par qualified but they teach us not often. Generally we are taught by government appointed contract basis faculty who are not much qualified and don't have much experience in teaching.
